America's Boating Club of the San Juan Islands

One of the most deeply satisfying activities in America's Boating Club is teaching classes, all done by volunteer members.  This three evening class provides the basic training in the teaching methods and practices used by ABC, and gives you an opportunity to practice and demonstrate your skills.  Students who take the course and pass the exam receive an ABC teaching certificate enabling them to teach all classes, but in particular America's Boating Course which leads to the Washington State Boater Education Card. 

There is no charge for members, and all are encouraged to join our faculty.
